Class Rules
RULES FOR ALL CLASSES
-Operators must wear helmet, long pants, closed toed shoes and remain seated
-Must have wheelie bars. Bars must be able to stop tractor from a rollover
-Maximum height 16” draw bar
-Weights must be on secure
-Watch flag person—RED MEANS STOP! ; failure to stop WILL result in disqualification
-Waiver must be signed by all entries—under 18 years of age must have adult signature
-Must check weight AT EVERY EVENT and safety inspection at first pull
-Track Official word is final on safety and weight of tractor
-No duals and/or chains on tires. All styles of rubber tires are acceptable
-All tractors must have working brakes
-If tractor is equipped with 4 wheel drive must pull in 2 wheel drive
-Guarding must be on all moving chains and clutches
-Exhausts must point up or down. Unless using stock muffler
-Must have NO fuel leaks
OFF THE LAWN GARDEN TRACTOR RULES
Class Description
This class is only for a tractor that has a completely stock drive train. Something that you would cut grass with.
-Engine and drive train to be original to that garden tractor.
-Max 2 cylinder engines. With stock governor settings
-Pumped fuel only (gas station gas)
-Decks can be on but belts must be removed
-Maximum height 16” draw bar with wheelie bars. Stock location with no wheelie bars
-Turf and bar tires only.
STOCK GARDEN TRACTOR RULES
Class Description
This class is for the young and inexperienced drivers. A tractor that has a stock drive train. Frame and tires can be modified for pulling purpose. Can be repowered up to 20Hp.
-Engine and drive train to be original garden tractor type equipment. Max 2 cylinder engines.
-Governors must be working
-20 HP rated limit on motors – Max 4000 RPM
-Pumped fuel or AVGAS
-Must be naturally aspirated
STOCK ALTERED GARDEN TRACTOR RULES
Class Description
This class is for the experienced drivers. Tractors can have a modified drive train. Can be repowered up to actual 40Hp. This a competitive class with modest budget builds.
-Engine and drive train can be modified from original garden tractor type equipment. Max 2 cylinder engines.
-Governors must be working
-40 HP actual limit on motors- Max 5000 RPM
-Pumped fuel or AVGAS
-Must be naturally aspirated
-Up to 3 cylinder naturally aspirated diesel motors allowed
SUPER STOCK GARDEN TRACTOR RULES
Class Description
This class is for the experienced drivers. Tractors can have highly modified drive train. They are repowered. Run on complex fuels. This is a very competitive class with extensive budget builds.
-Engine and drive train must resemble garden tractor type equipment. Max 2 cylinder engines.
-Open RPM and HP on motors- Guarding must be in place over all rotating assemblies
-Race fuel and alcohol allowed
-Working kill switch required (must kill engine and fuel pumps) at rear of tractor
DIESEL GARDEN TRACTOR RULES
Class Description
This class is for the experienced drivers. Tractors can have highly modified drive train. They are repowered. Run on diesel fuel. This a very competitive class with economical to extensive budget builds.
-Engine and drive train must resemble garden tractor type equipment. Max 3 cylinder engines.
-Can have turbo, water or propane injection.
-Max 5000 RPM- Guarding must be in place over all rotating assemblies
-Open HP limits on motors
-Working kill switch required (must kill engine and fuel pumps) at rear of tractor
MODIFIED GARDEN TRACTOR RULES
Class Description
This class is for the very experienced drivers. Tractors are highly modified or custom built drive trains. This a very competitive class with economical to extensive budget builds.
-Maximum of 4 cylinder engine – NO EXCEPTIONS – bike and car engines are acceptable.
-Must have chains, belt, and any moving parts shielded to top and sides to pass safety inspection
-Working kill switch required (must kill engine and fuel pumps) at rear of tractor
-Pumped, AVGAS, Alcohol fuels acceptable.
ATV PULL RULES
-Experienced operator only
-ATV and Side by Side configuration only
-Operators must wear helmet, long pants, closed toed shoes and remain in seat location.
-Maximum height 16” draw bar
-Weights must be on secure
-No duals and/or chains on tires. All styles of rubber tires are acceptable. NO TRACKS
-Must Pull in a straight line, no swerving from side to side. You will be flagged if this happens.
Absolutely no horseplay in pit area.
